Drug Alerts in EHRs Contribute to Alarm Fatigue, Study Finds

A study by researchers from the Regenstrief Institute and the Department of Veterans Affairs finds that electronic health record-based medication alerts might occur too frequently and contain too much information to be helpful to busy clinicians.
