A new study published in the Archives of Internal Medicine concludes that blood pressure disparities between black and white patients could be reduced if more physicians adopted electronic health records. According to the study, the gap in blood pressure control rates between black and white patients was larger in primary care offices that used paper-based records and smaller in offices that used EHRs.
