AHRQ: New Web Page Highlights Innovations Related to the Affordable Care Act
AHRQ announces a new section of the Innovations
Exchange Web site, Implementing the
Affordable Care Act: Innovations That Improve Health Care Quality and Access (http://www.innovations.ahrq. gov/AffordableCareAct.aspx).
The
page highlights profiles from the Innovations Exchange collection that reflect
service delivery models and strategies related to the ACA and illustrate its
key principles. While these innovations are not directly connected to CMS
Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) programs, select innovations
are precursors to the ACA; others show approaches to improving quality and
efficiency that support ACA goals.

- vendors, system purchasers, and users should encourage and assist in each others’ efforts to adopt best practices.
